2009 MNHA VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Come out and show your support for MNHA by volunteering your time to assist your hunting association with their clean-up efforts!  Help MNHA preserve the appearance of the Hunting Control Station and the Patuxent Research Refuge by participating in MNHA’s Work Days.  Please meet at the North Tract Hunting Control Station at the designated times for job assignments.

MNHA Clean-Up Days

Ø      May 30^th (Saturday 8AM - Noon)

Ø      June 21^st (Sunday 8AM - Noon)

Ø      July 18^th (Saturday 8AM - Noon)

Ø      August 16^th (Sunday 8AM - Noon)

Ø      September 6^th (Sunday 8AM - Noon)

MNHA Membership Shoot Reminder

This is a reminder that this Sunday, April 5^th is a Member Range Day!!  You must be a MNHA Member to participate in this range day.  The range will be going hot from 9AM until approximately 2PM depending on the member turn out. 

 

The Refuge gate opens at 8AM and the chief range safety officer is asking that everyone meet at the Hunting Control Station by 8:30AM. 

 

Those participating in this Membership Shoot will be going over to the range as a group at 9AM.  Those arriving late (after the group has left for the range) will not be admitted to the range as the electronic gate to the range will be locked at that time and no one will be working the Hunting Control Station.

 

Toxic and non-toxic shot permitted during this Membership Shoot.  Hope to see you on Sunday!!
